Capita recognises the importance of good corporate governance and is committed to the highest standards. The Board is responsible for the company’s overall corporate governance including adopting appropriate policies and procedures to ensure the company’s objectives are met and to optimise the company’s performance.

A framework for managing the company has been set out by the board, including adopting relevant internal controls and risk management processes which it believes are appropriate for the effective running of Capita Asset Management. Our system of corporate governance is designed to promote fairness, transparency and accountability.

 

The Board’s role and responsibilities, as set out in its charter, include:

Capita’s governance includes key features and practices that are reviewed regularly and upgraded or changed as appropriate to reflect the Company's interests, changes in law and what is generally regarded as sound practice.
